Error messages and codes

This appendix describes the messages issued by the Table API program. The error messages will immediately appear to the user in a dialog box. The error messages are identified by a ten character label. The format of the label is SIICTInnnx.

: Indicates the message is from Softline International Inc. Table API.

: nnn
: Indicates the three digit message number

: x
: Indicated a warning severity code.

The severity codes and corresponding return codes are as follows:

Severity Code	Description
R	Reply Required
I	Informational
W	Warning
E	Error
S	Severe Error
T	Terminal Error

A ``[#]'' found on the description of the error means the error message ends with a number that signifies the location in the code where the error was trapped. This information can be useful for tracing the errors.Some error messages contain information that changes each time the message appears. These items are represented here in italics. The following are specific error messages which might be encountered when running the Table API:
