Filters
Some of the filters we have developed are described below.
Script to FrameMaker
This filter converts documents maintained in IBM's Script document formatter (also know as DCF, GML, BookMaster) to FrameMaker format. This includes a conversion of both text and graphics. This filter was developed over five years ago and currently supports up to release 5.0 of FrameMaker.
MML to MIF
This filter converts documents maintained in the Maker Mark Up Language format to FrameMaker. This filter converts text and graphics. Frame Technology assumed marketing responsiblites for this product on June 1, 1991 as a part of release 3.0 of FrameMaker.
FrameMaker to Text204
This filter converts documents created in FrameMaker to a format usable by the Text204 text management and retrieval system. This filter converts text only as Text204 and doesn't support graphics.
Scribe to FrameMaker
This filter will convert documents maintained in the Scribe document formatter to FrameMaker. Resulting filter will convert both text and graphics. Current status is detailed design.
TEX to FrameMaker
This filter converts documents created in TEX to FrameMaker.
